Beautiful memories of the summer of 2009

This is a horse I'm working on,heading towards the Renaissance period of jousting with knights apon their backs,but I want to put armor on him and just showcase the beautiful jousting horses adorned with elaborate carefully tooled armor.The Jousting horse was a very powerful horse,big,tall and very strong.

new for me,not the subject of horses but the detail of armor and finding the right materials.

I'm taking my time with this one,I start with a armature and lay clay on..one piece at a time..it's a priority that it is very strong..and I put alot of research in the details of the armor with the period of the time,it's important to me to be factual.

I use no molds and do not use the Breyer collectible horses to customize,this sculpture and all my works are completely of my mind and true OOAK..One of a Kind.

Where's my Horse?

Petey' above one of the three orphaned bunnies I've been bottle feeding.

He has become attached to me and the littliest of the 3...he's quite the comic..he does the most

unusaul things lol..and if he had it his way he would just hang with me 24-7 lol..he gives me kisses and rubs and loves to be cuddle...

My Heart Tugs

St. Francis has always been my favorite saint,it seems all my life I have nursed orphaned animal babes..I was brought 3 lil boy bunnys yesterday..there doing fine so far,lord willing...they had been dragged from there nest by a dog on a construction site and the mother was no where to be found,she would never return to a nest that had been ravaged...I have 3 generations of rabbits I've bottle fed on my farm,they are the biggest of rabbits I've ever seen lol they are easy to spot..they always visit my garden,they've never left the area...I guess how appropriate right before Easter that he blessed me with another Heart tug duty...that's what I call them...they are so precious..I wanted to share them with you.I've had such low feelings of recently they are a message to me that God takes care of all his creatures Great or small and that I can lean on him in my times of despair....and he shows me the faith he has in me when I have lost it....Happy Easter to all of you.....love/Sheri

This week has just flown by...and I'm still behind,anymore now I just go around with a todo list in my back pocket...I need to give in and sell my beautiful motorcycle..thinking on it..I have 2 new auctions coming up... here's a few pictures...above ...and my merfillio and snazzy the snail..lol..I'm wierd I know...

I'm working on a horse now...hope it turns out as I imagine it too..
